                             Ed and the Father's Quilt quilt will be at the beautiful USF Botanical Gardens, E. Fowler Ave., in Tampa, FL for a one day outside quilt show sponsored by the Cypress Creek Quilters Guild. This will be a fantastic opportunity to not only meet Ed West and get your copy of Father's Quilt signed by him, but to also see some beautiful quilts displayed amongst the beautiful USF Botanical Gardens. Hours are 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, for one day only.

                             Ed will be with the wonderful quilters of the High Point Quilters Guild at 10:00 am at the High Point Park, Brooksville. Ed will be talking about his book and the role of quilts during the Civil War. Signed copies of Father's Quilt will be available following the presentation.

                             The Highlands Quilt Guild will be hosting Ed at their February 2008 meeting being held at the Woman's Club in Sebring, FL. The presentation and book signing will start at 10:00 am. Ed will be talking about "Father's Quilt" and the role of quilts during the Civil War.

                             Ed will be with the wonderful quilters of the West Broward Quilt Guild at their May meeting in Davie Methodist Church located in Davie, Florida at 7:30 pm. Ed will again be talking about his successful book Father's Quilt and the role of quilts during the Civil War.

                             Ed will be a guest speaker at the Florida Cabin Fever Quilters November meeting at 7:00 pm at the Marks Street Senior Center in Orlando. Ed will be talking about his book "Father's Quilt" and the role of quilts during the Civil War.

                             Ed will be a speaker and doing a book signing at the Castle Quilters Guild November meeting in Orlando. They meet at the First Baptist Church of Pine Castle at 9:30 am. Ed will be talking about Father's Quilt and civil war quilting.

October 19, 20 & 21, 2007   

                             Ed and the Fathers Quilt quilt will be at the Suwanne River Quilt Guild Show signing books and meeting quilters. This is a wonderful and very talented group of quilters who hold their show at the beautiful Stephen Foster State Park in White Springs Florida. This is a wonderful opportunity to not only see some beautiful quilts, but to also see one of the most beautiful parts of Florida. If you've never been up to this part of Florida before, please take the opportunity to attend this show, it will be worth your time and bring your husband.

                             Ed will be at the Pelican Piecemaker Quilt Guild in Edgewater, FL for their April 17, 2007 meeting. He'll be talking about "Fathers Quilt" and the role of quilts during the Civil War and signing copies of his book. He will have with him the quilt which the story, Fathers Quilt, is about.

                             Ed will be doing a presentation and book signing at the Friendship Quilters Guild monthly meeting in Jacksonville, FL beginning at 10:00 am. He will have the quilt that the Civil War era story, “Father’s Quilt” is based on at the presentation and answer any questions attendees have about the story. He will also be talking about the role of quilts during the Civil War.

                             Ed will be with the Hernando County Quilters at their September meeting at 10:00 am in the Christ Lutheran Church, Brooksville, FL. Ed will be talking about his quilting novel, “Father’s Quilt”, Civil War era quilting as well as his next book coming out in early 2008. He will also be available for signing copies of Father’s Quilt.

                             Ed will be at the Crazy for Quilting Quilt Show held at the Crystal River Armory in Crystal River, FL. doing book signings. The show is sponsored by the Creative Quilters of Citrus County Quilt Guild and they will be celebrating their 10th Biennial Quilt Show. This show is a wonderful opportunity to not only see some fantastic quilt workmanship, but also to meet Ed and to get your copy of “Fathers Quilt” signed by him.

                             Ed will again be at the Lake County Quilters Guild FANtastic Quilt Show from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm. This will be their 25th annual show and will be held at Lake Receptions, Mt. Dora, FL. February 16 & 17, 2007   

                             Ed will have the quilt “Fathers Quilt” is based on at the World of Whimsy quilt show sponsored by the Quilters Workshop of Tampa Bay. The show goes from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm and is being held at the Salvation Army Worship Center on Sligh Ave, Tampa, FL. This will be their 16th fabulous quilt show.

February 2 & 3, 2007   

                             Ed is proud to be at the Fantastic in Fabrics quilt show sponsored by the Sunbonnet Sue Quilters Guild being held at the Indian River Community College, Vero Beach, FL. He’ll have the quilt the story is based on at the show and will be happy to sign copies of “Fathers Quilt” as well as answer any questions you have about the story. This will be Ed’s first quilt show appearance on the east coast of Florida and he looks forward to meeting the many readers of “Fathers Quilt” in the area.

                             Ed will be in Eastport, FL. in December as the luncheon speaker for the Friends of the Franklin County Public Library meeting. The event is held at the Eastport firehouse and will start at 11:30 am. Ed will be talking about the writing of "Father's Quilt" and the importance of reading in an electronic society.

                             Ed will be with the members of the Largo Cracker Quilters at their monthly meeting beginning at 10:00 am. Ed will be talking about the story of writing the book “Fathers Quilt” and what it was like being a widowed woman during the Civil War era before women’s rights as well as the role a special quilt can have in a person's life.
